Assaulted Women’s Helpline

Call-in only. Emergency helpline for women in Ontario that have been assaulted. Provides crisis counselling, safety planning, emotional support, information and referrals. Anonymous, accessible 24 hours a day. Accessible for d/Deaf and hard of hearing folks via the TTY (teletypewriter) line.

PEARS Project

The PEARS (Prevention, Empowerment, Advocacy, Response, for Survivors) Project is a grassroots, trauma-informed coalition. PEARS provides legal, mental health, capacity-building supports and resources to survivors of sexual violence across the University of Toronto. It is founded and led by survivors through survivor-centered principles such as autonomy, consent, equity, mutual aid, support, and care.

Sex After Sexual Assault

Online resource outlining multiple ways of beginning the sexual healing process. These include topics such as how to identify healthy and unhealthy attitudes around sex, the C.E.R.T.S. Healthy Sex Model (consent, equality, respect, trust, and safety), how to relearn to enjoy touch, etc.   

Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Care Centre

Based in Women’s College Hospital, a 24-hour medical care centre for those over 16 who have been victims/survivors of sexual assault or intimate partner violence, offering emergency and follow-up care. No appointment necessary, open 24/7.

Sexual Harassment and Assault Resource Exchange (SHARE)

SHARE is a legal resource for students and workers experiencing sexual harassment/assault at their schools/workplaces. They provide free legal advice on all options available in Ontario when pursuing legal and non-legal action related to assault and harassment. Services available to all.
